Step Up for Mental Health at the Nucar 5K

At Nucar New Hampshire, we believe that strong communities start with supporting one another—and mental health is a vital part of that support. That’s why we’re honored to be the Title Sponsor of the Nucar 5K for Mental Health, happening on Sunday, May 18, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

This event is more than just a run—it’s a chance to come together during Mental Health Awareness Month and raise funds for Lakes Region Mental Health Center (LRMHC). This essential organization provides integrated mental and physical health services to residents in 24 towns across central New Hampshire, supporting up to 4,000 people annually and providing hundreds of thousands of dollars in charity care.

The Nucar 5K for Mental Health welcomes all levels of participation—whether you’re running for a personal best, walking in solidarity, or rolling across the finish line. Plus, families can enjoy a free Kids Fun Run at 8:00 AM, hosted in partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lakes Region.

Not a runner? You can still make a difference! We’re looking for volunteers to help on race day—if you’re interested, contact Barbara or Tracy in Human Resources in Tilton for more details.
